Year 7s will follow a new version of the KS3 National Curriculum. This is a mastery light curriculum outlined by AQA. I have adapted it and designed a curriculum which will challenge pupils’ understanding of key concepts; provide opportunities to develop scientific investigative skills; and encourage higher literacy within science by using models to answer longer written answers.

NB Year 7s will only be working on the first and second topics within each theme. The third and fourth will be studied in Year 8 and Year 9.
