LITERACY IN KEY STAGE 3 SCIENCE

A unique part of the Key Stage 3 course is the emphasis we place on pupils’ writing. It is not the responsibility of the English Department to train pupils how to write for each subject. If pupils are to improve their writing in Science then we need to build into our curriculum opportunities to do so. I have created this introduction video to help explain a little more about what it is we’re doing. There will be two more videos to come shortly and these will guide your through how to use the models to master explain and describe questions.
